Increasing Knowledge & Understanding
Step 1 focuses on increasing cultural awareness. Theory , knowledge and understanding of other's and own culture, it's underlying values and behaviours. Through simulation, activities & games it shows us the importance of our mindset when we work with diverse cultural people.

STEP 2 - INTERCULTURAL MINDSET & SKILLS
Developing Intercultural Competence
Step 2 develops intercultural competence. Effectively developing our mindset and using cultural knowledge. We will also determine and practise valuable intercultural skills.
- Create a cultural profile of a team
- Understand and develop insight in beneficial intercultural mindset
- Map level of intercultural sensitivity [IDI]
- Develop necessary intercultural competency skills
- Develop & Practise intercultural behaviours, communication- and management styles
- Leverage the cultural differences in a team
- Define the advantages and added values of diversity
STEP 3 - INTERCULTURAL ADAPTABILITY
Linking Theory to Practice - Bridging the gaps
- Link the theory of Intercultural knowledge, mindset and skills to own work environment.
- Use Critical Incident Method to list relevant examples
- Use practised skills, appropriate mindset and knowledge (from step 1 & step 2) to analyse own examples and develop a successful intervention
- Analyse cases to recognise and practise bridging cultural gaps
- Decide Key Action Plan for team / organisation
- Determine Personal Development Plan
